Representative Client/Project Activity

One of michael seery & associates, inc.'s successes involved the firm's representation of a small builder's residential marketing and sales.  The firm took a small builder building 5 to 6 houses per year and moved them into a 197-unit condominium project selling 40 units per year.  They also represented this same builder when an investor of Seery's purchased an apartment project adjacent to the builder's condo project.  The three entities then joint ventured and remodeled and sold out the units in a little over 90 days.

Recognizing the need for office condo space in the local market, michael seery & associates, inc. invested and developed an 18-acre office park site on one of the busiest streets in Manatee County.  The park consists of 17 one-story buildings with a total of 120,000 square feet.  After all governmental permits were in place, michael seery & associates, inc. sold the project to a group of investors.

The company's most recent success was a 12,000 square foot, two story office building in downtown Sarasota.  Four lots that were sitting vacant for years were purchased and a building was designed and built by Michael Seery.  The units were designed as a condo so that local businesses could take advantage of the low interest rates and purchase their offices.  A local attorney and a high end builder purchased the building for their own headquarters.  Immediately after the sale of this building, the company worked with some investors, purchased a high-rise development that had obtained city approval and changed the project to a low-rise condo community that fit into the neighborhood better than the high-rise.  The company received acclamation from the city and the neighbors for envisioning a better community by proposing to build a tree-lined, courtyard, family friendly project instead of a tall glass and steel building.

The company is now working on another mixed-used project in downtown Sarasota consisting of residential, office, retail and possibly a high-end condo hotel along with a parking garage.
